Devon is punctual and efficient! We had some fried wires and he was able to fix it within an hour. We really appreciated the fact that he was able to help us in such a short notice. He's very professional and knowledgeable this this field of work. We will definitely hire him again!
Had a low voltage situation that caused power fluctuations in our tenant apartment. Devon took my call promptly, made a time commitment, and followed through. Sent a text letting me know that he was on his way. When he arrived he went right to it. He was well prepared, very knowledgeable and professional. He quickly located the problem and rectified it with expedient competence. After following up with some op tests he was on his way. One of the best experiences I've ever had with a skilled tradesman. Would most definitely recommend and have him come back for future projects and repairs.
We got in contact with them a few weeks ago and spoke with Devon the owner. He went and worked to take care of my parents' home. He was very kind,a professional, efficient and informative. Highest marks for Devon and his team. Devon came out the same-day I sent him a message to estimate a large electrical job in my new apartment. He gave me a free estimate, which you don't always get offered by others. His fees are very reasonable and honest, and he was super dependable. I had 16+ recessed lights to be installed; have 14ft ceilings; and Im in walk up which makes construction additionally challenging. There were multiple moments where Devon showed the highest level of professionalism. For example: (1) showed up both times right on time; (2) brought all the needed materials at the onset of the project; (3) attention to detail and hard work getting a 2 day job done in 1 day; (4) cleaned up after the job and brought all cleaning materials with him; (5) brought a very specific ladder to get up my walk up; and (6) meticulous in upfront walk through to make sure we didn't run into major issues mid-job. I am a rooftop and brownstone garden and exterior designer/contractor and used them to install an outlet in Manhattan. He also set up the low voltage lights to run on a switch instead of a timer. Great to work with and will use again.
Devon was able to come the same day that I called him. He was on time. He changed my 15 amps to a 20 amps and gave me a new rewired grounded outlet. Very reasonable price. He cleaned up after himself. Highly recommended as an electrician.
There were some GFI outlets that needed to be installed at our house. Devon was very responsive and a date for the job was quickly confirmed. Quick, on-time and efficient. Books installed 2 new lines and outlet boxes in my 111 yr old house without excessive damage to the walls. Pretty decent clean-up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them. Completed the job in just under 8 hrs, good value reasonable price.
I highly recommend Nooks Electrical! Unfortunately, we had 2 outlets in our kitchen that stopped working (one of which was hooked up to our oven) and they were able to come the same day I reached out to them. They were on time to the minute, quickly figured out that we had a bad outlet that was also wired incorrectly, and not only fixed the problem, but also took a few other preventative measures so it wouldn't happen again. Very reasonable price as well.
